Sam Brown
/ Sam Brown is one of London's leading and most versatile directors. Alongside his ads for Virgin, BBC Radio 1, Samsung, BMW & Audi, his iconic promos for Foo Fighters, Doves, Elbow and Jay Z have marked him out as a unique talent. Sam's innovative work encompasses an unusually broad range of styles and genres, and continues to notch up an increasing number of industry accolades including a D&AD pencil for best direction and Gold’s at BTAA, Cannes, Creative Circle & London International.
/ Q Magazine called his Grammy & double MTV Award winning promo for Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’, ‘2011’s most watched and liked pop video in the UK’ with over 265m hits on YouTube. We must stop hitting ‘Refresh’ and get some bloody work done…
/ You can easily spot a born Mountain Man… he’s the one in the yellow one-piece Himalayan marmot suit, inexplicably trying to blow up 48 equally spaced fluorescent tubes filled with coloured powder paint in a horizontal blizzard.
/ A love of music has taken him from playing the organ in the school chapel to multi instrumentalist in the infamous prog rock group Hot Sausage. Their first album ‘Hot Sausage, by Hot Sausage’ sold out within the year and they’re now pressing another 47 copies to cope with demand.
/ As leader of the Rogue Sniping team, he can take the whiskers off a marmot or Noho Hipster at 806 metres with his crossbow. Not an easy feat to pull off out of the office window due to likely collateral damage outside the Green Man and a dwindling marmot population.
